This programme has been put together to enable learners with at least 2-years’ experience in either gas, heating, or air conditioning to upskill to enable them to install and maintain air source heat pumps as we move towards a Net Zero greener country.

We focus on the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to assist you enrolling on an accelerated apprenticeship in Low Carbon Heating Technician (ST1020), and/or to further your career, to successfully take on new work or more responsibility.

You will be trained and assessed on your practical and theoretical competence throughout the course to ensure you meet the criteria to install and maintain air source heat pumps.

All learners will benefit from coaching and mentoring during & post programme, where required, to support job progression along with high-quality advice and guidance to support you into a positive employment outcome.
