Place, Train and Maintain

Connect to Work will run in Hampshire until 2030, helping thousands of residents into sustainable competitive employment.

Using the 'Place, Train and Maintain' model, Connect to Work offers:

  • Individualised, one-to-one support tailored to each participant needs
  • Up to 12 months of personalised support
  • In-work support for participants and employers to help people stay in work
  • Sustainable employment outcomes through ongoing support for both residents and employer

Who is Connect to Work for?

Connect to Work is voluntary and is for anyone who is disabled, has a health condition or has a non-health related barrier to work. It is for those who: 

Are aged 18 or over
Have the right to live and work in the UK
Live in a Hampshire district
Have a health condition, disability, or face other barriers to work
Not be excluded from accessing public funds
Are not currently employed, or are at risk of losing their job
Are motivated to progress into employment and want to find a job that’s right for them
